JAMER

Smart-ass Jamer agreed to answer a few questions for me ... enjoy 1. WHAT GOT YOU INTERESTED IN THE WHOLE TATTOOING THING TO BEGIN WITH? when i was in kindergarden i was a pretty good kid. there were a couple bad kids in my class. i made a concious decision to join them as soon as the first grade started. i would from that point on be a bad kid. i only lasted in schools till grade 8. at that point it was 86ish (i failed grade 6). i was into bad shit, punkrock and stealing and skateboarding and graffiti and drugs and rockaberry coolers. hahahahahahaha. it was funny. i sold drugs on and off from this point on cause i was bad. then i was hooked on booze and drugs cause i'm bad and now i tattoo cause it's a bad ass thing to do and you can swear. i guess everything i do is because i hate society and i want to go to jail or get in shit from someone. too bad tattooing isn't illegal. 2. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE STYLE OF TATTOOING? i like things that look the way they should look. like a tattoo of pretty girl is no good if she looks ugly. or a japanese tattoo that doesn't look at all japanese. or a traditional tattoo that looks like a world industry skateboard sticker. 3. WHAT DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING IN TWENTY YEARS? STILL TATTOOING? tattooing or selling drugs. 4. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A TATTOOER? not selling drugs. 5. IN YOUR OWN WORDS TELL ME WHAT A "TRADITIONAL TATTOO" IS. a design that existed in the late years of hand poke, and the early years of electric tattooing. 6. AS A TATTOOER, WHO INSPIRES YOU? (note: i linked to everybody who had a website that was easy to find) horiyoshi 3, woodley, "little" glennie whittall, chris david, d-boy, jerry swallow, fiona schick and ryan halter 7.YOU RECENTLY DID A GUEST APPEARANCE AT SANITARY ELECTRIC TATTOOS IN VANCOUVER - ARE THERE ANY MORE JAMER APPEARANCES PLANNED FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? i just got back from there. it was fun. that chad woodley mother fucker is very dangerous and not to be trusted. (just joking). hahahahahahahahaha oh, Jamer. what a card. he owns and operates Government Street Tattoo on ... well ... Government Street, in Victoria, Canada. CLICK HERE for his shop's website

funny answers from a guy who does funny-looking tattoos. a lot of ego for someone who does such sketchy work.
